Pedernales author Judith Lambert has won repeated recognition for her book, The Light: A Modern-Day Journey for Peace. The book has so far won the 2017 BME gold medal , the 2017 IPPY bronze medal, and the 2017 New Apple e-book medal, and continues to be well regarded.
Judith received her M.A. in Religious Studies from John F. Kennedy University, Orinda, California. Her early career led to life in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia and into a world of exotic travel and hidden places. Extensive experiences abroad enabled her to study various cultures and religions first hand. Her research and unique situation gives her works a totally fresh perspective and makes a contribution to religious inquiry, while making this subject matter easy to read. She expertly weaves psychology, spirituality, religion and dream interpretation into an experiential encounter. She finds joy in spiritual journeys and this culminated in writing both, The Light: A Modern Day Journey for Peace and A Mother Goddess for Our Times: Mary’s Appearances at Medjugorje.
